Adoption Terms
1. HHR makes no representations or warranties regarding the health of this
dog or temperament. HHR is not responsible for any vet./medical bills or
any other expenses incurred by the adopter.
2. I will provide this dog with humane care and maintenance at all times.
3. I will provide this dog with a fully fenced yard of other humane means of exercise.
He or she shall not be kept constantly chained or tied-out, or allowed to roam free.
4. This dog will reside in my home, will be kept as a household pet, and will not be
used for breeding either intentionally or unintentionally.
5. I agree to have the dog spayed/neutered within 1 month of receiving said dog.
Upon proof of spay/neuter to HHR, any registration papers will be given to
the adopter if said dog is registered with a registry. Failure to have said dog spayed
/neutered within this time frame will result in termination of ownership and said dog
is to be returned immediately to HHR.
6. If, for any reason, I can not keep this dog, I shall return it to HHR. The dog
shall not be given away, sold or exchanged without prior consent of HHR.
No adoption fees will be reimbursed.
7. I agree, from the date of this contract, to release and indemnify HHR from
any and all claims, known or unknown, now or hereafter arising in connection with
this dog.
8. I agree to pay HHR for any and all expenses, including court costs and
attorney’s fees, in enforcing the terms of this contract.
