Hans Haven requires all who want to surrender their dogs or puppies to sign a surrender contract. This contract gives this rescue complete charge of the dog/puppies. Please be very aware that unless this contract states certain stipulations in writing, ageed upon at signing, the dog/puppies will be owned by the rescue.  Please be certain that when signing that you are giving your dog/puppies up and they are no longer your dogs/puppies. We go through a very extensive process when adopting our pets out. We are Vet reccomended and are very proud of our work here.

Also, if you take time to read our contract for adoption, you will see if the pet does not work out for the new family, the pet comes back to the rescue. This insures that the loved one you surrendered will not end up in the pound,another rescue or a bad home.

We take pride in our rescue and the work we do. We do welcome other rescues to contact us if they have a person or persons on their list who would be interested in one of our pets. The Adoption application must be filled out for our rescue even if refered by another rescue or Humane society. Our fee's for Adoption are only the Provable vet bills that we have incurred.
